Warm, spring greetings to one and all as we welcome a new school year that is different and unusual but always an opportunity to change for the better by the choices we make today.

TOWARDS ONE ASSUMPTION KOKUSAI is our School Motto for this year!

We are determined to make a contribution to UNITY and HARMONY in DIVERSTIY – with a vision of a WORLD that is ONE, enriched by all the different cultures and ways of being, thinking and doing.

 

We want to prepare ourselves and our young to be confident, joyful and alive in a rapidly changing world, in a way that brings out what is best in the human spirit —

– to see light in the midst of darkness,

– to offer peace in the face of violence,

– to respond in love before hatred and indifference,

– to choose to hope when tempted to despair,

– to choose unity instead of division and separation,

– to believe in goodness even when provoked by evil,

– to choose the common good over personal, individual gain. These are challenging times. But in the Assumption, we persevere until

 

“the dawn breaks through the darkness”.

We, students, parents, teachers, office workers, administrators and leadership – together will see a brighter future for all
